Meet Rachel
Your Specialist Dietitian
Hey, I'm Rachel!
I'm a paediatric dietitian based on the Mornington Peninsula, and I help parents feel less overwhelmed and more confident about what their child eats.
I grew up loving food, especially baking. After ballet classes in high school, I'd come home starving and head straight to the kitchen. A batch of homemade brownies fixed everything. I loved the experimenting, the creating, and the way food could bring people together. That early obsession eventually led me to complete a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics (Honours) at Monash University.
My career has taken me further than I expected. I started out at Nutrition Australia running healthy eating programs in schools before heading overseas to work at Manchester Children's Hospital, Bristol Children's Hospital, and John Radcliffe Children's Hospital in Oxford. Working with children in complex clinical settings gave me a depth of experience I couldn't have got anywhere else. Back in Australia, I spent time at the Royal Children's Hospital Melbourne working with children with refractory epilepsy and metabolic conditions.
Now I work with families on the things that matter day-to-day: starting solids, food allergies, fussy eating, growth worries, tube feeding, and everything in between. I also work with NDIS participants.
The best nutrition advice is the kind that actually works for your family. That's what I'm here for.
Let's work together.
